These Boxes represent my work with the alternative photo process know as cyanotype print making combined with encaustic painting added to a practical item - a box.
Each piece is composed of a handmade original cyanotype print that has been mounted to a box and enhanced with encaustic paints for a one of a kind piece of art.
The encaustic paint seals the piece, and also adds shine and a light texture.
