Harnessing the Sun, Experimental Cyanotypes from Land and Sea.
I have been using cyanotype, an alternative photography method that uses photosensitive chemicals to create an image. (Think of the beautiful photography of Anna Atkins, or even the sunprints you made as a kid) Experimenting with long exposure times and adding water and other elements I have created images that alter the normally Persian blue and white results into greens, blues, and yellows. The results have been really fun, although I have had as many misses as successes.
